"The case offers an extraordinary glimpse into the shameful private prison industry that is flourishing in the United States." It also gives me the understanding that we(black community), need to seriously embrace our children and properly nurture them. When our children's attitudes have gotten out of control, it means that the adults around them are misdirecting them, are terrible role models, is the source of the child's confusion. The prison industry certainly is not without BLAME. But in many instances, the community, especially Black Men, is guilty of contributing to the process of the "Slave Mentality." If you are a Black Man and have yet to spend one hour a week talking, listening, teaching, volunteering to offer guidance or instruction to a Black Boy or group of Black Boys? Then you are part of the BLAME!
